The Stories of Chinese People' s Lives (Volume II) presents true stories of ordinary Chinese people from all walks of life to Chinese learners at home and abroad. The books aim to help readers to get a glimpse of contemporary Chinese society. The book series include seven books. The stories in each book focus on people of different age groups, ranging from people in their 20s to people in their 90s. The entrepreneurship of the post-1990s, online shopping festivals, Chinese dama' s square dancing, the Dragon Boat Festival, seal cutting, traditional Chinese medicine, retiring life of Chinese senior citizens and so on are all introduced in the books.
